Slim-Fast Strawberries ’N’ Cream Shake

This post was created in connection with my appointment as a SlimFast Ambassador.

So Influenster sent me one of the new Slim-Fast shakes to try out, I got the Strawberries 'N' Cream. First off I'll show you the information provided on their website which you can find by clicking HERE

SlimFast1 can help you Get What You Really Want this summer!

SlimFast is the perfect base for deliciously creamy summer cocktails/mocktails. SlimFast has partnered with DR Mixologist, Darryl Robinson, host of “Drink up” on The Cooking Channel, who created four exclusive recipes featuring some of the tastiest and trendiest ingredients of the season. With just 130-190 calories in every delicious cocktail, you won’t have to worry about enjoying the summer in your favorite teeny bikini.2

SlimFast products are sold at, as well as other online and local retailers nationwide.

1Losing more than 2lbs per week is not recommended. Exercise 30 minutes daily and follow the SlimFast plan.

2Cocktails are not a part of the SlimFast 3-2-1 plan. Occasional use recommended. You must be 21+ to consume alcohol and please drink responsibly.

My Thoughts

Okay, I tried this plain and I wasn't overly impressed. To me this drink alone tasted like watered down stawberry milk. It did taste better mixed with a little pineapple juice which is what I did. The problem I see with this product is that they are trying to gear it towards mixing it with other things. The whole point of slim fast products to me is to lose weight, something that will be hard when you add a bunch of other stuff to it. When I tried to figure out the calories of some of their drink ideas, I found that it almost matches an actual shake at times!

I just think they should market them as regular meal replacement shakes rather than trying to suggest eating other items with it because they are kind of defeating the purpose otherwise. Anyway, I have bought this again just in other flavors but I don't make any mixed drinks, just use them as is.

Here have a pic of what I made!
